For integrators
HoumeOS for installers, electricians and system integrators
Finish the site with a platform, not with yet another app.
Different clients, one and the same workflow: design, simulate, hand over, maintain.
In short
HoumeOS is for the integrator who wants to hand over a working system, not to maintain ten different apps. Devices speak to a single model over MQTT home/v1; scenarios are assembled and tested in a hardware-free simulation mode before any equipment is on site; rules, history, roles and PIN live on the server. You bring the devices and the site — the platform brings the UI, the rules engine and the transports.

What you get as an installer
A ready client layer: kiosk with thirteen screens, profiles with roles and PIN, log and history. You do not rewrite UI, authentication and audit for every new site. You connect devices to home/v1 and describe the scenarios — the platform holds the rest.
Hardware-free simulation and a tested core
Before you mount anything, you run the scenarios in simulation mode: the same home/v1 contract, the same rules, without real devices. That shortens time on site and catches errors earlier. The core is tested against the same contract your devices will speak to later.
A single device model over home/v1
Every transport — whether Matter, Zigbee through a bridge or Modbus — is translated into one set of home/v1 topics for state, commands and events. Rules and screens do not know the brand; they know the model. A new device enters with a driver, without rewriting the other screens.
Drivers: what is ready and what you co-write with us
Honestly: Matter pairs for real today; the MQTT contract is ready, but the broker with your devices is the next step; Modbus, KNX and ONVIF have transport and a TCP-probe guide, but the register-level drivers are still ahead. For a specific brand we co-write a driver with you — protocol documentation is enough.
Handing over the site and maintaining it
You deliver a system with history, audit and clear roles, not a pile of codes. The client sees one screen; you keep administrative access for maintenance. A local architecture means the site keeps working even without internet — and without a foreign cloud subscription that could interrupt your service.
What works today and what is coming
We do not present upcoming work as available. This list matches the roadmap.
Works today
- A single device model and the home/v1 contract for state, commands and events
- Hardware-free simulation mode for testing scenarios before going on site
- Server core: rules engine, history, roles and PIN (scrypt), audit
- Real Matter pairing and an integration panel with a step-by-step guide
Coming soon
- MQTT broker with real devices and the first register drivers (Modbus, KNX, ONVIF)
- Phone alert channels (email, push, webhook)
Later
- Own radio layer and a mesh topology in the platform
- A library of brand drivers written on request per site
Frequently asked questions
Do you compete with me for my clients?
No — HoumeOS sells the platform, you sell the project, the install and the maintenance. The client relationship and the responsibility for the site stay with you; we do not take the end client in front of you. The whole point for the integrator is to finish faster and maintain easier, not to be replaced.
Which protocols can I use today?
Matter pairs for real and is tested; the home/v1 contract is ready and documented, and any external broker can speak to it. Modbus, KNX and ONVIF have transport and an integration panel with TCP reachability checks, but reading registers and group addresses arrives with the driver — either pending, or co-written for your site.
How do I add a device you do not support?
Through a driver that does three things: reads the device, writes its state into home/v1 and accepts commands from there. A hardware-free simulation mode and a tested core mean development does not wait for a live site. If you have protocol documentation, write to contact@houmeos.com.
Is there a partner programme or commercial terms?
Case by case, based on the site and volume — we do not publish a fixed list price, because a system includes equipment, protocols and scenarios. For commercial terms and a demonstration for your clients, write to contact@houmeos.com or call +359 886 088 668.
We show the system on a live screen
The demo starts from your question: which devices, which protocols, which scenarios.
