For homeowners

HoumeOS for homeowners with solar, battery and heat pump

All the energy in your home — on one screen, in your network.

If your roof already produces and the battery and heat pump are waiting for someone to coordinate them — this is your page.

In short

Homeowners who already have a solar system, a battery and a heat pump usually look at the three through three different apps and three different clouds. HoumeOS brings them onto one screen inside your LAN: you see what is produced, what is consumed, where the surplus goes and what it costs on your tariff. Rules run on the server in your home and keep working even when the internet is down.

Solar, battery, boiler and heat pump — one screen, inside your own LAN.

You have solar, battery and heat pump — and three different apps

The inverter has its own app, the battery a second, the heat pump a third. You never see in one place how much you produce, how much you consume and where the surplus leaks. HoumeOS merges the devices into a single model and a single screen without pushing them through a foreign cloud.

One screen that merges them: production, battery, boiler, hot water

The Energy screen shows solar, battery, grid and consumption as one flow with a clear priority: first the battery, then the boiler, then export. Climate, lighting and blinds live beside them on the same kiosk — thirteen screens on a tablet, wall panel or phone.

Savings that are measured, not promised

We do not publish guaranteed percentages. The system reports production, consumption and self-consumption in real time and turns them into currency on your day and night tariff. The real outcome depends on your roof, your devices and your habits — you see it in the history after installation, not in a promise before it.

Works without internet; your data stays home

Rules, modes and history live on the server inside your LAN. When the internet drops, automations keep running and telemetry never leaves the house. No cloud account someone can shut down or silently re-terms.

How we start: a site survey

Before any quote we look at the property: which devices you already have, which protocol they speak and which scenarios you actually want. The proposal is for your specific installation, not an average house. Concrete models are confirmed on site, not on a website.

What works today and what is coming

We do not present upcoming work as available. This list matches the roadmap.

Works today

  • Local server in the LAN: rules, history and roles — no cloud account
  • Energy screen: production, consumption, battery and grid as one flow
  • Battery → boiler → export priority with thresholds, day/night tariff cost
  • Real Matter pairing and a kiosk with thirteen screens

Coming soon

  • Drivers that read the actual inverter, battery and heat pump (Modbus/TCP) and switch the boiler contactor
  • Phone alerts on failure (today notifications are born on the server and on the screens in the home)

Later

  • Own radio layer in the platform and a voice assistant
  • Automatic thresholds driven by a weather-forecast production model

Frequently asked questions

I already have a solar system — what does HoumeOS add?

Not new production, but better use of what you already have: the whole flow is visible on a single screen, and rules decide whether the surplus charges the battery or heats the boiler before it leaks to the grid at a minimum price. How much that returns is measured in the history of your installation — never announced in advance.

Will it work with my battery and heat pump?

It depends on the model and protocol, so we do not promise blind. The platform speaks to devices through MQTT home/v1 and Modbus/TCP; drivers that read your specific inverter or heat pump are confirmed during a site survey. The status of every transport is published on the Integrations page.

Do I need internet for the system to work?

Not for daily control. Rules, modes and history run on the local server and keep working when internet drops. The link is needed only for things like external data; the house itself does not depend on a cloud.

Is the saving guaranteed?

No, and we say it openly. HoumeOS never promises a fixed percentage; it measures production, self-consumption and cost on your tariff. The real effect depends on the roof, devices and habits. You see it in the data after installation — that is the point of local history rather than an advertising promise.

The demo starts from your question: which devices, which protocols, which scenarios.
